NORTH WEST HIGHLANDS UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK

NORTH COAST GEOTOUR

The NWH Geopark is running a Geotour to the North Coast of Scotland based in Durness.  It consists of 8 field days, 1 – 8 June 2024 inclusive and has two more field days than the other Geotours.  Transport via minibus will be available from Ullapool to Durness on Saturday 1st June and will be used for all field localities and the return trip to Ullapool on Saturday 8th June.

If geotour participants wish to use their own transport up to Durness and back that is also an option.  The Geotour will again be led by Pete Harrison, the NW Highlands Geopark Geologist.

Full details are available on the North Coast Geotour page
